Educational Farm Tours and Visit with the Animals
Have you ever walked a sheep on a leash? At Pickle Meadows, you can take Moonpie, our sheep, on a stroll through the meadow. Come spend some time with our animals and reconnect with nature. All of the goats and sheep were bottle fed and enjoy interactions with humans. Petunia, our potbellied pig, was hand raised and loves children and belly rubs. We even have a hedgehog, Princess Buttercup, that enjoys playing on the farm.

Academic Tutoring with Animal Assisted Interventions
Using school data, assessments, and teacher & parent input, an individualized academic plan will be developed to meet current learning and/or behavioral needs. With a combination of direct instruction and integrating animal assisted educational activities, students will develop self-confidence, social skills, self-regulation skills, while gaining academic skills.
In-Home Tutor Rate: $85/ hour
Farm Tutor Rate: $75/ hour
Animal Assisted Activities for Communication
Providing Animal assisted activities designed to elicit communication skills for individuals and/or families. For children with communication disorders, activities will focus on language development and opportunities to create a human-animal connection .
**Services can be provided in conjunction with other service providers like SLP, OT, or PT.
Individual Rate: $75/ hour
Family Rate: $85/ hour
**Price negotiable when collaborating with additional service provider.
Educational Resources, Advocacy, and Support
Helping families navigate, advocate, and plan for their child in the educational setting. All children learn differently so finding the most effective approach that meets a child’s current learning needs is beneficial for the child, family, and teachers. Families will receive support to develop appropriate learning strategies and goals, as well as creating appropriate IEP goals and objectives.
Consultation Rate: Free
Educational Planning: $60/ hour
IEP meeting: $75/ hour
